Drilling penetration in Western China exceeded 2 million meters
China Petroleum Network News: As of August 21, Western Drilling Company has drilled 973 wells and completed 881 wells, with drilling footage exceeding 2 million meters.
This year, facing many difficulties since the reorganization, Western Drilling has completed the transfer of management power, the transfer of personnel and assets, and the establishment of organizational structure in a relatively short period of time, so that the company's operation is on the right track.
Faced with the fact that the total number of drilling teams does not increase, the workload increases by 10% and the task of safeguarding is arduous, western drilling takes technical speed-up as the driving force, safety speed-up as the key, management speed-up as the key, according to different blocks and well types, through optimizing drilling parameters, optimizing bit types, strictly implementing accident prevention measures, and strengthening well control and management. Management and team management improved drilling speed significantly. In the domestic market, the average team footage increased by 10.5% year-on-year, equivalent to 31 drilling teams; the comprehensive monthly speed of drilling rigs reached 2247.54 m/platform month, up by 14.72% year-on-year.
The 40539 drilling team in Qinghai plateau achieved the first completion of the drilling in one month, with a footage of 5060 meters in less than one month, which reached the highest monthly footage of a single drilling machine in the plateau in half a century.
